JUNIOR RACQUETS
Junior tennis racquets are getting better and better and do make a difference in the learning process for the kids.  The length of the racquet is the main issue when buying a racquet.  The taller the child the longer the racquet, however, I have put together an general guid on the size of racquet based on age.  I have also added a few examples of the junior racquets.  Again, call or email with any questions.

• All junior racquets come in sizes (length) of 21, 23, 25, and  26 inches.
• 21 inch racquets are generally for kids ages 2-4
• 23 inch racquets are generally for kids ages 5-7
• 25 inch racquets are generally for kids ages 8-10
• 26 inch racquets are the last step before the kids start using adult racquets. Kids with more experience will be using this racquet and kids ages 9-12 could be using this racquet.
• For kids over 13 and above we recommend an adult sized racquet.
• It is important to realize that these are general ranges and if your child is bigger or on the verge of the next age group you may want to buy a racquet that is longer.  Any of the pros can help you out with which racquet to buy.
