Carlson Tennis is pleased to team with the City of Shorewood for another year of tennis at Badger Park.  This year we will be offering two Fun Fridays that the City of Shorewood presents to the kids of the community.  These dates are below and if you are interested please email me at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Carlson Tennis Shorewood Camp

 What: Carlson Tennis will be running three week long tennis camps at Badger Park Shorewood.  The camps will be for ages 4-12 and class sizes will be limited to a 6:1 student tennis pro ratio.  There will be three classes offered based on ages.

 Class Decriptions:

Little Stars (QuickStart for 4-6 year olds)              Time: 1:00pm-1:45pm   Cost: $45
This class is for our youngest players.  In this class we will be emphasizing agility, balance, and coordination.  Movement and tracking skills will give the kids the ability to properly handle a racquet and ball.  We feel that this foundation will be instrumental in their long term success playing tennis.  FUN and SUCCESS is our goal!

Rising Stars (QuickStart for 7-9 year olds)           Time: 1:45pm-2:45pm   Cost: $60
This class is for our 7-9 year olds.  The goal of this class is control.  We will be working on rallying the ball back and forth while working on technique and tactics.  We want these kids to be able to play games by rallying by the 2nd lesson and the final day will be full of games and competitions.  This is truly the age where kids fall in love tennis.

 Future Stars (QuickStart for 10-12 year olds)      Time: 2:45pm-3:45pm   Cost: $60
This class is for 10-12 year olds.  Some of these players are still new to the game; however everyone will be rallying from the first day.  We will split the class into two courts depending on ability.  Our emphasis for these kids is to get them to rally the ball and understand the fundamentals of the forehand and backhand groundstrokes, volleys, and serve.
