Junior Programs
2012 Junior Program Sign Ups available FEBRUARY 15!! Below you will find the description of this year's programs. We are offering these programs at our home site, Minnetonka Country Club (NON-MEMBERS are WELCOME) and Mound Westonka High School. Each site has it's own junior program, session dates, and sign up. STARS PROGRAM (Ages 4-16)- The Stars Program is our version of progression tennis and uses smaller courts and low compression balls. This will be our 5th year using this format and the results speak for themselves. THE KIDS ARE HAVING A BLAST! We are excited with the progress the kids have made and we are implementing more programs to develop those ready for the next level. All of our Stars programming will incorporate competition of some kind. I truly believe the kids want to play and when they play they learn. Our Stars program is for our younger players ages 4-11 and our Teen Stars ages 12-16.

COMPETITIVE PROGRAM (Ages 9-18)- The Competitive Program is for the experienced player with everyone having an opportunity to play matches. There will be four levels ranging from our top junior players who play high level varsity and tournaments to our newest players who have advanced from the Stars Program into full court matches for the first time. Within each of the 4 Competitive Levels we will be splitting the classes into courts based on levels for the drills. Each week our staff will be lesson planning to be sure the kids get the most out of each class. Of course games and competitions will be the foundation of fun within these groups.
